Jayne Richardson has offered dance
instruction at The Shed since the fall of 1996, when she moved her classes
from Pigeon Point to The Shed Center for the Arts. Classes were held on
the stage of the main theatre building, until The Shed Education Building
was completed in January 1997!
With the completion of The Shed
Education Building, Jayne's classes moved into the stat-of-the-arts Dance
Studio 1, the first dance studio in Northern Beaufort County built with a
professional dance surface on a "sprung" floor system. Ms.
Jayne's students and families helped to raise funds for the new mirrors
and barres to complete the studio. |
